Milan, Garda Lake & Stelvio Pass



This year we have decided to test out the latest and greatest performance super cars, for a second tour event in summer 2019. The tour will include 1 day in Milan, 1 day driving through the FranciaCorta with a stop in Berlucchi Cellar for a wine tasting tour, 1 day in Garda Lake and 1 day driving through the famous Stelvio Pass or Lago Iseo.

Starting in one of the world’s most fashionable cities, our Lombardy/Trentino driving tour takes you on a journey through the heart of Northern Italy, cruising down the scenic routes around beautiful Lake Garda, then winding up through the Italian Alps, towards the famed Stelvio Pass.

Nestled in one of Italy’s famous national parks, the iconic Stelvio route offers 45 hairpin bends that perfectly showcase the picturesque views of the rolling Ortles mountain range.

The MotorValley Experience package consists of four night and five days, including three unique days of touring, through low lying woodland forests, vast mountain valleys and rich shorelines, illuminated by the warm Italian sunshine.

Renowned for their beauty and excellent driving roads, the Italian lakes, Lombardy shorelines and the Ortles mountain ranges also offer superb pitstop dining at some of Italy’s best restaurants, with gastronomy and wine vineyard tours available.

Fly into Milan either the night before or the morning of the first drive and check into your hotel. You will then enjoy a 3-day unique driving tour, travelling 650km km in your preferred supercar covering all the best roads in the region, including one of our top roads: Stelvio Pass.

Package Price includes:

1 day guided driving tour 600 km, 4 nights luxury accommodation with breakfasts, and guided tours of Milan, FranciaCorta and Garda Lake. Price is based on twin / double room accommodation and two drivers (300km per driver) in each car.

Evening dinners night 1,2 and 3, order and pay a la carte – fuel is paid separately at the end of the event based on actual consumption.

To register, we take a deposit of £1,500 per person – as soon as the minimum numbers for the event (10 persons / 5 cars) are confirmed, then the balance is due, and you can then go ahead and finalise your travel plans / flights.


The franchise deposit to drive the cars will be fixed at £15,000 per couple (or £7,500 per person) which is taken as a credit card reservation before the start of the event, and will be cancelled at the end of the event.

Day 1 – Arrival at Milan Airport and check in the Hotel

For those arriving by plane, you will be met at Milan airport by a chauffeur driven transfer vehicle, which will drive you to your luxury hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be warmly welcomed with a glass of prosecco to kick-start your holiday.

After checking in, you are free to explore the metropolitan city of Milan – a global mega power for fashion and design, and Italy’s largest urban region.

Stroll along the famous Via Della Spiga, home to many of the world’s best designer and luxury jewellery stores, and visit the world’s oldest shopping mall, the decadent and exquisitely glamourous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

As one of the most fashionable cities in the world the shopping is plentiful, but when shopping works up an appetite, you can visit one of the biggest and grandest Gothic cathedrals in the world, Duomo Square, to savour an amazing Italian apéritif under the Madonnina statue.

In the evening you can enjoy dining in a traditional Milanese restaurant in the heart of Milan.


Day 2 – Franciacorta and Garda Lake

After enjoying the 5-star hotel breakfast, your choice of supercar will be directly delivered to you.

As you head west on a tour through the beautiful Lombardy region, you will pass magnificent mountain ranges and lush vineyards that are cushioned between the cities of Bergamo and Brescia.

The first pit-stop of the day takes you to the exclusive Bellucchi Vineyard in the amazing Franciacorta region, where you can experience traditional regional cuisine, and taste the world-famous Franciacorta sparkling wine.

For travellers interested in sight-seeing, the Franciacorta region has an abundance of award-winning, famed vineyards, and wineries that you can explore at your own leisure, or you can discover the history of the region by visiting the authentic castles, palaces, and churches that date back to the renaissance age.

From here, you will head 40 km’s south-east, along the winding shoreline of Lake Garda by Desenzano, and Peschiera, to the lake’s Lombard shores in the historical town of Sirmione, famous for its natural thermal waters, superb winemaking, and striking panoramic peninsula views.

Located in the province of Brescia, positioned on the tip of a long peninsula protruding from the southern shore, the picturesque drive to Sirmione offers captivating views of the luminous environment and flourishing vegetation that lines the southern shoreline of Italy’s largest lake.

The regions’ delectable gastronomy and superb wineries give the perfect backdrop for your second evening on the tour. We recommend you dine at the hotel’s 5 star restaurant that evening – it’s something very special indeed.


Day 3 - Stelvio Loop

As you wake up in one of the most beautiful backdrops in Italy, you will be served breakfast in the stunning hotel garden, overlooking the endless views of the gorgeous Lake Garda and surrounding landscapes.

After enjoying a relaxing breakfast, you will get back into your supercar of choice and continue driving north 250 km’s through the beautiful landscape of Italy’s northern peaks.

You will spend the day driving down the most dramatic mountain pass in the European Alps, an iconic route that has captured the hearts of many, with its show-stopping natural beauty and curving roads that carve through the rolling green hilltops and vast mountain ranges of Northern Italy.

You will trace a path along the unspoiled Dolomites Mountains, stopping in several immaculately preserved, traditional villages, such as Trento, Bolzano and Merano, near the northern border with Switzerland.

Heading west through the Stelvio National Park, you will enjoy a stunning picnic lunch in the heart of the central Italian Alps, surrounded by the region’s natural beauty, before heading up and over the spectacular and widely famed Stelvio Pass.

Approaching from the North West side you can experience the wall of 45 switch back turns that run along the northern face of the mountain, with its dramatic 2750 metre incline it is easy to see why it has been named as one of the world’s best driving roads in Europe.

Heading back down the legendary Stelvio Pass towards the town of Bormio, in the centre of the Valtellina basin below, you will pass several superb vantage points where you can park up and admire the view back down the valley.

Elevated 1,225 metres above sea level deep in the Italian Alps, Bormio has a thriving winter sports resort, annually hosting the Alpine Ski World Cup, as well as boasting several hot springs and thermal baths.

After an adrenaline filled day, you can spend the evening relaxing and unwinding in the beautiful Bormio Spa Hotel.


Day 4 - Return to Milan

After catching up on a well-needed rest in the elegant setting of your indulgence hotel room, you will wake up and enjoy eating an incredible breakfast whilst admiring a panoramic view of the Valtellina valley.

On your journey back to Milan, you will drive through the gorgeous Parco delle Orobie Bergamasche national park, until you arrive at the equally stunning Lake Como for your lunch, lakeside.

Once you have enjoyed your lunch, the tour heads back towards Milan, taking you past the famous Italian cities of Lecco and Monza, which are home to the Formula 1 Monza circuit.

You can enjoy an Italian apéritif before heading back to the hotel in the heart of fashionable Milan for your last night.


Day 5 - Departure

After a restful sleep, you can spend the morning shopping in heart of Milan, or you can stay within the hotel grounds until you are collected from your hotel by your chauffeur driven transfer vehicle, which will collect you from the hotel and take you to Milan airport.
